4.1 The Import License for Used Motor Vehicles can be collected either in person from FRCS Complex, Nasese, building 2 Ground Floor or will be made available via email

4.2 In the event the application is rejected, the applicant will be informed via email with the reasons for rejection

Note:

• Brand New vehicles do not require import license, however all vehicles imported into the country must be Euro 4 compliant.
• Import License is to be obtained before the vehicle is shipped into the country
• JEVIC Inspection is required by LTA when vehicles are imported from Japan, Australia and New Zealand
• Left Hand Drive vehicles are prohibited unless prior approval is obtained from LTA.
• Written-off vehicles are prohibited
