3.1 The Vehicle Inspection Officer inspects the vehicle to ensure it meets the requirements.

3.2 If approved, the VEO will affix the number plate to your imported vehicle

3.3 If your vehicle fails the inspection, the registration process is paused until the inspection is successfully passed after resolving any issues.

Note:

Self-import limits for individuals and businesses are included as follows;

• Individuals – limit of 2 vehicles every 5 years
• Businesses – no limit provided it is for their business use.
