1.1 The certificate must accompany the vehicle during the import process and is required for customs clearance and registration in Fiji. Without this certificate, the vehicle may not be allowed to enter or be registered in the country.

1.2 Those who are importing motor vehicles from outside Japan are required to contact the Tariff & Trade tariff&trade@frcs.org.fj for more information and requirements

Note:

The JEVIC (Japan Export Vehicle Inspection Center) certificate is mandatory for all used vehicles imported from Japan to Fiji. It certifies that the vehicle has undergone a thorough inspection to ensure it meets Fiji’s safety, emissions, and roadworthiness standards.
